Why We Started Altovend

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed a painful truth: even the largest US hospitals were dangerously dependent on fragile, single-source supply chains for the most basic clinical supplies. Gloves, masks, gowns — items that had always been assumed to be "always available" — became impossible to source reliably.
